10 days in...

Okay, so I'm ten days into this HCG thing and I have to say that I finally feel that it is worth it! I had ravenous hunger the first two days after the gorge. I don't think I ate well enough during that phase! I gorged but not all day just mainly at night when we went out to eat. I will admit that the first few days I cheated! I told you before that I have a hard time in the commitment area of life. Not it realationships but in things that tie me down or come with too many rules!! Like dieting! And sometimes church. lol
But back to the cheating... I made cookies for the missionaries and had to eat one of the rejects! They are my favorite cookie. My mom's tollhouse oatmeal chocolate chip with walnuts. Delicious!! Also for breakfast every morning I have a diet coke!! I know!!!!!! I just have a huge desire to start my day without a headache and this takes care of it. I know I'm justifying but that is who I am people!! After that I eat my melba toast and fruit around 10 or 12. Then I take 12 drops around 2 and eat my lunch. Yesterday was the second day that I drank the gallon of water and I peed all night! Didn't get much sleep... I eat my dinner about 7 and the rest of my water. I take the last dose of 12 drops right before I go to bed. Yesterday I squirted wipping cream into my mouth and swallowed(yummy) It was a 15 calorie cheat. Busted! There I have admitted to the world that I am not perfect in any way and I do things the way I do them. lol
I feel great!! I feel lighter and my stomach has gone down. I have more energy and the scale is tipping slowly so I'm happy about that.
The rest of life is going. We still struggle with Sami's grades and laziness but we will conquer it and all will be happy. She has a job now hosting and bussing tables and is doing great there.
She will go this weekend and drive a stick shift little car that a client of mine is letting us borrow for the weekend. I think that if she gets confident with the stick in a little car than moving into the Jeep won't be as intimidating as it has been thus far.... she has been driving my mercedes for a a month because the radiator is out in the Jeep. She loves the attention she gets in the benz... But John and Wylson are on that project this weekend so back to Humbleville for Sami come Monday!!!! Nothing like driving into a high school parking lot in a loud, old, high, JEEP!! She sees it as embarrasing now but wait unitl the guys know that the Jeep is little Sami's.... They'll think its hot!! lol
Dallan starts soccer next week and we are all very excited for him. He has the same coach he has had in three years but this year he is playing with 12 year olds. Remi is down with strep again. Second round since January! She is miserable, Madi is growing like a weed! We went thru the summer box and not one thing fit!!! I bought her a few things today for our phoenix trip but if anyone has hand-me-downs in a size 14youth it sure would be nice to get those!!! (hint)
Well I guess that is all for now...

SNOW DAY!!!

Today is a snow day... this is what the midwest does to us when there is about an inch of snow and ice, they cancel school! They cancel school all the time in the winter. Growing up in Bountiful (living in the canyon mind you) it had to be over 7 inches and wind gusts gallore for school to be cancelled. I only remember one time in Elementary, and one time in Junior High. That time we went skiing so it was cool.
My kids are running around like crazy people. What happened to the hang out? Being lazy, reading, or doing nothing. They can't even watch tv like normal people there has to be something else going on too. SOO, today I am going to put them to work. It is way to cold outside to go sledding (the high is 18) so we are going to start our progect of moving rooms. Jared is coming to live with us again and we are so excited. But I think this time we will rearrange things to make life a little more convienent and better. I have decided to move all three girls upstairs into Madi and Eastons room. This way they will have their own bathroom and bigger closet. Easton will move down into Sami and Remi's room and share it with Dallan. I have my eye on a bunk bed at Walmart so I will put them in this bed and they will have a lot more room in the bedroom. Wylson will stay in his room and Jard will be in there with him. Now all 4 boys will share a bathroom and they will have to clean it up(boys mess), much better if you ask me. I am going to re-vamp the toy hall as well and get rid of the toys that are too little or to young for Easton and make a cozy tv cove too.
I know this sounds like a lot and of course we will not do all of it today but I figure I need projects to keep me from going to Sonic.... I haven't had a coke!!!
The diet is going... that's all I'm going to say. I have had a few drawbacks "TOM"
and my mind set wasn't perfect but I'm back on today so we will see how the next 25 days go. Should be good!

Joining the HCG Clique

Well I have officially joined into the HCG Clique and I start day 3 of this crazy diet tomorrow. I am doing this to challenge myself and to re-commit myself to something bigger than myself. I have told the kids and John that I would stop drinking Coke many times this past year!I have failed. I always think I need it to be happy and feel better. I hope this diet proves me wrong. My new years resolution is to run in the Kansas City Half Marathon in May. But being the non commital person I am lately, I look at the training schedule posted by my treadmill and lazily run to Sonic for another route 44. I suck!! I have not been motivated for a long time to do anything physical this is why am I pouring into every jean I own! Because I have no motivation to do anything my headaches are worse and my back hurts all the time. So here I am jumping in with both feet and a positve attitude to change the appearance of my body and really challenge myself to stick to something hard for 35 days! I know I can do it... I went thru grouling workouts and trials as a dancer so somewhere deep down inside my 37 year old bod is a tiger, I just need to find her! I am thankful that Janel is doing this with me and talked me into it! I find her blogs inspiring so please keep it up Janel! My mom is also starting her second phase of "slim for life" so together we should succeed in a house that feeds 9 daily and lives on cheap meals. I think that will be the hardest part since I will essentially be cooking for me, John and the kids and then keeping Moms diet in check. Although kudos to her... she really did will losing 30+pounds last time. She knows what she is doing. Unlike me I feel that there is more info out there for me to find about my journey. Bring it on!!!!
I am committed! And all my readers feel free to check in on me and see if I am surviving!
